Hi! I'm Stephanie Cantrell, lover of art, music, fashion, beauty, and the God who gives it all to us. I'm passionate about making real connections with people and helping them express who they are and what they’re about in creative ways. I fulfilled this passion for 14 years as a professional graphic artist and transitioned into my dream job as a portrait photographer several years ago.

I’ve always delighted in creativity and the freedom it brings and have enjoyed taking photos of people for as long as I can remember. My desire to capture honest, beautiful images of my family helped me discover that I wanted to invest more time in developing as an artist and seeing what I could create from behind the lens.

My work reflects the things I value: love, relationships, creativity, and beauty. Over the years, I've cultivated my own style and gained expertise in capturing emotive portraits. In my early twenties I began mentoring and working with teenagers, and have learned that my connection with that age group is something to cultivate and treasure. It's simply a part of who I am. I care deeply for each senior I photograph. Helping them feel beautiful while bringing out their individuality during a session brings me incredible joy. The experience gives them the gift of confidence, and shows them they deserve the best.

My husband and I married in 2014 and live in the Northwest Austin area. Between us, we have three gorgeous teenage daughters, two entertaining pups, one "grand-horse," and a 12-year-old goldfish. My hobbies include traveling, reading, cheering on my Red Raiders, discovering new music, spending time with family and friends, crafting, and playing guitar.
